Case of the lost debit card...

So on Friday night when I was in Folsom for Nicole's birthday I used my debit card at dinner and then at the Bank of America to get cash out for Streets. All seemed fine. Then the next day I go to work and use the left over cash to get lunch. Trouble starts when I am at dinner that night at Taro's for Vanessa's birthday. I go to get my card to pay my portion of the bill and it is not there! I start to panic. I always put my card back in my wallet when I am done with it. Luckily I had just enough cash to pay for dinner. But it was still bugging me that I didn't know where my card was! Long story short, I found out that I had left it in the ATM in Folsom and they destroyed it because it wasn't a B of A card...ugh! So I had to contact my bank, have them expedite a new card to my branch by Wednesday so I could have it in time to leave for New York Friday morning! Geez! What a hassle! But at least it wasn't stolen and there weren't any fraudulent charges. Moral of the story: Don't leave the ATM without your card in hand!!!

Streets and Dream

So last Friday we went out for Nicole's 23rd Birthday. We went to Hacienda in Old Folsom for dinner. It was really good! They brought the bday girl a shot of tequila and dessert. After that we went to the Streets of London in Folsom, which we had never been to. It was a lot bigger than the one downtown and definitely not as crowded. All in all it was a very fun night! Lots of pics and good times! We even made some friends at Streets...









And then on Saturday we went out for Vanessa's 23rd Birthday! She loves sushi so we went to Taro's for dinner. So good! They brought out a tray of coffee mochi ice cream with candles in it for her. Then we headed over to Dream where we were on the guest list. We all had fun dancing the night away!!! They played some good music and V had fun dancing on the couch haha. Good times for sure!









It was a very fun and eventful weekend! I hope my friends had good birthdays! We definitely have lots of photos to remember the nights by!

Weekend full of Birthdays!

This last weekend I went to two birthday parties, Nicole's on Friday and Vanessa's on Saturday. They were a lot of fun!!!! I will post pics and details soon! And the interesting story of the missing debit card...

Thunder and Lightning!!!

So the fam was at dinner and all of a sudden we look outside and it is POURING! Not like sprinkling, full on pouring! Drops the size of golf balls! haha anyway, then we heard the thunder and saw the lightning. Me, Natalie and Devon run outside and it was amazing! Lightning like crazy!! We took off our shoes, rolled up our pants and went out and danced in it. It was soo much fun and so liberating! In less than a minute we were soaked! So much fun! The rain lightened up a bit but the thunder and lightning continued (and is still going!) It was so awesome! Mother Nature is a beautiful thing!

OK! so I just watched the MTV Movie Awards and they were hilarious! Andy Samberg hosted and was so awesomely funny! He is so hot in a dorky kinda way...This is how he opened the show:

After the first commercial break he held up this sign so everyone who tivo'd the show would know when to stop...



Next I just want to comment on how attractive I think Zachary Quinto from Star Trek is...he didn't present an award or anything but he was in the crowd and looking good!!!


Also, Zac Efron who did present and win an award was there and he was looking might fine also...as always. V Hudge's dress was a little low and revealing but as Lindz and I always say, "In Hollywood, boobs hang free..."


Ok so Twilight mania was insane! Everytime Andy even said the word Twilight or anything related the crowd went CRAZY! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart both won for Breakout star. And let me just say with all due respect (haha) Kristen Stewart is ridiculous! She is so awkward and dumb! haha She dropped her award and I think it broke....

Anyway they won a bunch of awards and each time she was stumbly and awky!! The only good thing that came out of the whole Twilight craziness was Andy's trick he played on everyone....

Andy also showed a digital short making fun of how actors walk away from explosions and how they look all cool haha super funny with guest appearances by Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd on keyboard! hahahaha

1st: dress was ridiculous...she looked like she was dressing like she was 30 years old.
2nd: Her voice bugs the crap out of me!


So pretty much the moral of the story is to watch the show! It was great and there are lots of funny things that I didn't talk about like:
1. Sasha Baron Cohen's butt in Eminem's face
2. Hayden Paniterrie (or however you say/spell her name!)cussing up a storm
3. LeAnn Rimes and Forrest Whitaker singing Andy's digital shorts
4. Kings of Leon's awesome performance
5. Ben Stiller's award
and much much more!!!
