Yay! we are finally here and unpacked! woot! I have to dye my hair because it isn't natural enough, LAME! but so far we are having a lot of fun! Fun roommates and I'm working at a super nice resort and spa! excited! More to come soon!

3 days till we leave! I can't believe it is already here! It is going to be REALLY hard saying goodbye to all my friends and family but I am really excited for our new adventure!!! Hopefully I packed everything I need...

Going away party

So last Saturday night I had friends over for our going away party. It was a lot of fun and it was good to see my friends! We of course played Disney music (for some of the night) and had food and good wine. It was really nice to just visit and talk with our friends.

So all in all it was a good party. Not as crazy as some of my previous get togethers but it was good to just socialize and have a good time! :) I am going to miss all of you so much and please don't replace me when I'm gone hahaha and of course thank you to Lindsay for the photos!

13 days and counting!

So 2 weeks from today me and V will be standing in line at Vista Way, getting our apartments, jobs and other important first day info...I am so excited but also a little nervous! I hope everything goes according to plan :)
I need to start packing! ahhh! It is going to be very hard to bring only the clothes that I will actually wear. I always bring waaay too many clothes...
I just got a laptop case today for $8, exciting! haha so I think I have everything I need before we leave. We are going to be getting most of our stuff when we get over there.
It's going to be really hard saying goodbye to all my family and friends...especially my friend Lindsay. I am going to miss everyone sooo much!!!
I promise I will be posting a lot more once I get over there and actually have stuff to talk about haha I know I have been slacking lately.

Bye Bye Macy's!

So today was my last day at Macy's. It's a bittersweet feeling because I am so glad to be done with the actual work part of it but I am going to miss my co-workers so much! It's going to be weird not working there but after Florida it is time for me to get a big girl job/career. Hopefully I find a job that I love and that pays good money haha

So now I have a little over three weeks to relax, pack and hang out with my friends and family! :)Bring it on!!

Harry Potter!!!

Ok so I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night and it was amazing!!! It's been 2 years since the last movie and this one was worth the wait! Not only was it awesome and well-made, it was hilarious! There were multiple times where I was laughing so hard I was almost crying! There were a couple parts that didn't follow the book and things they forgot but that what you have to expect when trying to squeeze a 600+ page book into 3 hours...There were even a couple scenes that weren't even in the book! weird! Anyway if you haven't seen it yet, you should. Even if you haven't read the books you will enjoy it. I can give you a previous 5 movie recap if you need it haha

American Idol Tour!

Tonight the top 10 from this season's American Idol will perform at Arco Arena and I am soooo excited! We got really good seats right next to the stage so we will be up close! I am especially excited for Adam Lambert. He was my favorite this season and I was SO bummed when he didn't win. But I am glad that I get to see him sing and perform in person!! I am also excited to see Kris Allen (who won) and Danny Gokey (who came in third). There are a couple others who were pretty good and I think it's going to be an all around entertaining show! I will take lots of pics and post them soon! I am crossing my fingers that I get to meet Adam! haha

Big Brother!!!

Starts on Thursday! I am so excited! Lindsay got me started watching last year and I was totally hooked! I hope this is a good season...and as a plus there are some hot guys this year which always makes it more interesting to watch haha

Case of the lost debit card...

So on Friday night when I was in Folsom for Nicole's birthday I used my debit card at dinner and then at the Bank of America to get cash out for Streets. All seemed fine. Then the next day I go to work and use the left over cash to get lunch. Trouble starts when I am at dinner that night at Taro's for Vanessa's birthday. I go to get my card to pay my portion of the bill and it is not there! I start to panic. I always put my card back in my wallet when I am done with it. Luckily I had just enough cash to pay for dinner. But it was still bugging me that I didn't know where my card was! Long story short, I found out that I had left it in the ATM in Folsom and they destroyed it because it wasn't a B of A card...ugh! So I had to contact my bank, have them expedite a new card to my branch by Wednesday so I could have it in time to leave for New York Friday morning! Geez! What a hassle! But at least it wasn't stolen and there weren't any fraudulent charges. Moral of the story: Don't leave the ATM without your card in hand!!!

Streets and Dream

So last Friday we went out for Nicole's 23rd Birthday. We went to Hacienda in Old Folsom for dinner. It was really good! They brought the bday girl a shot of tequila and dessert. After that we went to the Streets of London in Folsom, which we had never been to. It was a lot bigger than the one downtown and definitely not as crowded. All in all it was a very fun night! Lots of pics and good times! We even made some friends at Streets...









And then on Saturday we went out for Vanessa's 23rd Birthday! She loves sushi so we went to Taro's for dinner. So good! They brought out a tray of coffee mochi ice cream with candles in it for her. Then we headed over to Dream where we were on the guest list. We all had fun dancing the night away!!! They played some good music and V had fun dancing on the couch haha. Good times for sure!









It was a very fun and eventful weekend! I hope my friends had good birthdays! We definitely have lots of photos to remember the nights by!
